My name is Mary, and I’m the owner of Tughill Pet Grooming LLC.

I started Tughill Pet Grooming with one simple goal — to provide stress-free, one-on-one grooming in the comfort of your home, where pets feel safest. I know firsthand how overwhelming grooming can be for some pets, which is why I focus on patience, kindness, and quality care over rushing.

I’ve been grooming for 14 years, and I’ve proudly been servicing East Tennessee for the past 3 years. What started as a love for animals has grown into a business built around compassion, trust, and personalized care.

🌲 A little about the name & my roots:
I am originally from Northern New York near the Adirondack Mountains. I used to live on the Tug Hill Plateau, which is where the name Tughill came from. When I moved here to TN, I decided to keep the name to hold onto my roots ❤️

🐾 Some fun facts about me:
• Poodles & doodles are my FAVORITE to groom
• I am dog & cat CPR certified
• I have 4 dogs of my own
• My husband and I are huge lovers of the outdoors and traveling — if it involves adventure, we’re in!

I also have a background in veterinary work and animal shelter work, which gives me a strong understanding of aggression, behavioral needs, and medical conditions. This experience allows me to safely handle pets that may be nervous, fearful, or turned away elsewhere.

I am currently in the process of going back to school to learn naturapathy, red light therapy for pets, and massage therapy for dogs

Hi everyone! My name is Kadence, and I’m part of the team here at Tughill Grooming 🐾✂️

I was born and raised in Rogersville and have lived here for 20 years. Growing up, I spent many years volunteering at our local animal shelter, which is where my love for working with dogs really began.

I’m currently learning to groom under our amazing owner and am continuing to build my skills every day. Right now, I specialize in baths, nail trims, and tidy clean-ups to help keep your pups looking and feeling their best.

I’m also a proud mama to a sweet 5-month-old, so patience and gentle care come naturally to me 🤍 I treat every dog like they’re my own and always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved during their visit.

I’m so thankful to serve the community I grew up in, and I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies!
